Pool Hall Practice Session 2

My friend and I hit the pool hall again, while playing darts the waitress I was flirting with last weekend approached and we talked a bit, she seemed attracted and all was going good till the bartenders called her away.

In the middle of a pool game my buddy went to get something to eat from a grease truck in the parking lot. While he was gone, I approached two women at the bar, a blond and a brunette and ask them if they were fun?

They were friendly and responsive right off the bat. I then had them join me for some pool. We were having fun playing and chit chatting a bit.

Then a couple of the brunettes friends showed up, I told the brunette to go join her friends. The blond stayed and we continued to play and flirt with each other. I had thoughts of isolating and escalating with her.

Unfortunately, my friend came back and she got distracted with her friends. Shortly after, my friend and I decided to call it a night.

Tabu Practice Session

I went to Tabu, a club in Downtown Orlando. My goals for the night were to have fun, approach women and create attraction. I approached my first set with the same material from the AAT. They had a hard time hearing me and weren’t very responsive.

After that I decided to switch up my game a bit. I focused a lot more on Kino and I approached with:

You seem like fun, are you? or I just complimented them on there sexiness.

I got more conversation out of asking them if they were fun, but still got lost on were to take the conversation. Telling them they looked sexy or gorgeous was pretty much hit or miss.

Between approaches I spent the night dancing with random chicks. I would of liked to create some attraction, I’m just not sure on how to do it. Even though I didn’t progress like I wanted to, it was still a fun night out.

Pool Hall Practice Session

I went out with friends to a pool hall. It just happened to be Latin night and a lot of beautiful women were in attendance. My goals for the night were to have fun, approach women and see how far I could take it.

I pretty much used the same material from the AAT. And for the most part, I got the same type of responses. I would open a set and chit chat a bit. Then, maybe throw in the ESP routine and/or the best friends test.

Followed by more small talk. And because I didn’t know were to take it next, I would then eject myself by telling them I should get back to my friends and maybe I would see them later.

What I would like to improve on, is creating attraction. I would also like to stop ejecting from sets.

Top Lair Approach-A-Thon

I just participated in my first Top Lair event, known as an Approach-A-Thon. It’s where they take a small number of new guys into the field and teach the basics of approaching. The two main purposes of this event are:

1. To give newbies a kick start and teach them that they don’t need a ton of material to start approaching.

2. To meet other guys for future winging.

This is my first attempt to learning this Pick-Up thing and I had a blast. The night before the event I was notified of the time and location. I was also told to memorize one opener and one funny story.

I spent that night and the whole next day, right up to the event memorizing and rehearsing my opener. I had know problem memorizing the opener but I thought it would be a bit tricky to deliver it because of it’s length.

We started off the night with a quick meeting and went over some of the basics of approaching. Then after a quick practice session, we split into pairs, an experience member with a less experience member.

By this time I couldn’t remember my opener. Cryo, my teacher for the night, taught me the WLM opener and a ESP routine. I don’t remember the details of each set. But the overall night went well.

I approached about 5 or 6 sets. The majority of the women were responsive, I had a couple girls interested and I got a phone #. Over all I felt the night was a success and I was inspired by the other PUA’s.
